This service is available by dialing *150*03# or by downloading the SimBanking App from the App Store or Google Play
- Intra-Bank Funds Transfer to any bank account within CRDB Bank network
- Funds transfer to mobile money
- Bills Payments (Brela, TPA, TRA, Luku, Dawasco/Moruwasa, Startimes, SUA etc.)
- Airtime purchase for yourself and others
- Ability to send money to people with no bank accounts or ATM cards (Cardless)
- Access to Salary Advance
- Balance and Mini statement inquiry
- Alerts (notifications of TemboCards/Visa/ MasterCard usage).
- Bilingual, allowing you the choice of Kiswahili or English.
Security
SimBanking is completely secure. All transactions on SimBanking require your PIN. A PIN is needed each time to gain access to the service. Thus, even if an unauthorized person has possession of your phone, they cannot make any transaction on SimBanking without your PIN.

There are three ways to register on SimBanking;
- Dial *150*03# on your mobile number and then follow the instruction to self-register
- Visit any CRDB Bank ATM with your TemboCard to register yourself. See more details on how to register HERE
- If you do not have a TemboCard, please visit any branch to register.

1st Part – on ATM
Visit CRDB ATM
Insert ATM card and enter PIN
Select other services
Select SimBanking registration
Select Phone Number Change
Select account to register
Enter the previous registered mobile number
Enter new mobile number
Confirm the details
You will receive SMS with initial PIN
2nd Part – On new mobile phone
1. Dial *150*03#
2. Enter account number
3. Enter initial PIN – receive form SMS
4. Confirm PIN
Through Nearest CRDB branches without the need of ATM Card.
You need to deregister the device through CRDB Branches or by following the below instruction
Login to SimBanking APP
Click on your profile
Select ‘Unregister device’’
Then you need to change SimBanking USSD (*150*03#) full registered mobile number;
Through Registration at the ATM.
1st Part – on ATM
Visit CRDB ATM
Insert ATM card and enter PIN
Select other services
Select SimBanking registration
Select Phone Number Change
Select account to register
Enter the previous registered mobile number
Enter new mobile number
Confirm the details
You will receive SMS with initial PIN
2nd Part – On new mobile phone
1. Dial *150*03#
2. Enter account number
3. Enter initial PIN – receive form SMS
4. Confirm PIN
Through Nearest CRDB branches without the need of ATM Card.
After all the above have been done- The customer will perform fresh SimBanking App registration as per section 1 above using the new number.
Login to SimBanking App
Select transfers
Select mobile network
Select own My number or Other number
Select source account
Enter mobile number
Enter amount and click proceed
Click ‘’confirm’’ to allow the transaction
Note: no need to select the mobile operator name, the SimBanking App will automatically detect.
Login to SimBanking App
Select transfers
Select other banks
Select source account
Select beneficiary bank name
Enter beneficially account
Enter beneficially full name
Enter amount
Wright a transfer description and click proceed
Click ‘’confirm’’ to allow the transaction
To access SimBanking App on the new handset, you just have to do a fresh registration by following the below steps. Download SimBanking App through Play Store or App store The SimBanking App will automatically detect the type of your phone and then; Download SimBanking App through App Store and log in by using SimBanking USSD mobile number, PIN and one-time PIN (OTP). To get OTP to dial *150*03#, select 7, services then, select 4, Mobile App registration)
Login to SimBanking APP
Select cards
Select Freeze card
Click card off
